Actually to my knowledge Ive never heard any billy joel but from listening to the start of this I reckon he sounds a bit like David Bowie... Is that in any way accurate?

ReplyDeleteps. He doesn't really sound anything like David Bowie, it's more like Elton John or something, sort of smooth pop-soul. Can certainly pen a chart-friendly tune. He also invented the rap genre and the 'list song' with this tune (you must have heard this before, surely!):

yeah that song is really bad but also awesome at the same time!
